St Mary's, Preston-on-Stour serves the communities of Preston and Atherstone, and the estate of Alscot. The parish includes a shop, and Millenium hall, both in Preston-on-Stour, and businesses linked with Alscot. The Tiddlywinks preschool meets at the hall.
The church has 3 bells, and many monuments to memebers of the West family, who live at Alscot. The church holds services on most Sundays, and there are strong links with Whitchurch, which is part of the benefice, with Ilmington, Stretton-on-Fosse, Tredington with Darlingscott.
